We like to see you between 8-10 weeks for your first appointment. Call or email to make an appointment. Our friendly administration team will be able to assist you.

Private health insurance is not required. There will be out of pocket costs. All our doctors are private doctors.

Our doctors deliver at Northpark Private Hospital in Bundoora and the The Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg.

For your first appointment, please bring all results that have not previously been sent to your doctor, along with your private health insurance card and Medicare card.

All referrals and results should be sent through prior to the booking visit, this allows the doctor to spend time with you and not reading the paperwork as this can be done prior to your appointment. Please send your referral through to our friendly administration team via email or fax 03 9005 5113.

Your obstetrician will check up on your health and identify any issues that could affect you or your baby. This will be a longer appointment where you can ask any questions you may have regarding your pregnancy.

Your doctor will probably offer you the first of many routine tests done in pregnancy. Some of these might be subsidised by Medicare. It’s a good idea to ask about all the expected costs of your care.

There are 3 fees payable for your pregnancy. Your pregnancy management fee is dependent on the insurance company for your health insurance. Our friendly administration team will discuss this with you.

Each doctor has a specialised appointment schedule for you.

If it is in hours please call or email, our friendly administration team will be able to assist you and the message will be passed on. For existing obstetric patients, if it is an urgent matter there is an after hours pager number.
