Our Gynaecology patient resources and helpful links have been put together to provide valuable information for our patients. If they raise any questions, please contact us, or follow up at your next appointment with your doctor.

Private health insurance is not required. There will be out of pocket costs. All our doctors are private doctors.

There will be costs. All our doctors are private doctors.

This isn’t recommended as it will take longer for you to be seen. Your GP should refer you directly. It will take longer to get into the public system as private doctors do not get preferential treatment. You will join the queue like any other public patient.

Private practice is generally quicker but this depends on a variety of factors.

This is a private practice and there are out of pocket fees.

Send your referral, as the doctor may want to order new tests before the appointment. Please send your referral through to our friendly administration team via email or fax 03 9005 5113.

The doctors triage all Gynaecology referrals so those who are the most urgent need are seen promptly.

For your first appointment, please bring all results that have not previously been sent to your doctor, along with your private health insurance card and Medicare card.

All referrals and results should be sent through prior to the booking visit, this allows the doctor to spend time with you and not reading the paperwork as this can be done prior to your appointment. Please send your referral through to our friendly administration team via email or fax 03 9005 5113.

The doctor will take a history and may examine you to further plan your management.

If you have your period, for a colposcopy the appointment will need to be rescheduled. Please call or email, our friendly administration team will be able to assist you

If it is in hours please call or email, our friendly staff will be able to assist you and the message will be passed on.
